Dasar ini ("AUP") membentuk sebahagian daripada AiOB SaaS Subscriber Agreement. Versi Bahasa Inggeris di bawah adalah teks rasmi.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the AiOB platform and related services ("Services"). By using the Services, Subscribers and their users agree to this AUP. It forms part of the AiOB SaaS Subscriber Agreement.

2. Prohibited Activities

Subscribers and their users shall not:

  • Upload, store, or transmit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or harmful.
  • Use the Services to send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited commercial communications.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, worms, or any malicious code via the Services.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other users' accounts, or Words Connect's systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Services or its components.
  • Use the Services for the purpose of building a competing product.
  • Bypass rate limits, storage limits, or security mechanisms.
  • Share account credentials outside their authorised team.
  • Scrape or extract data from the Services via automated means outside published APIs.
  • Use the Services for any activity that violates Malaysian law or the law of any jurisdiction where the Subscriber operates.

3. Resource Usage

3.1 Fair use: the Services are designed for typical SME operations. Excessive or abusive usage that impairs the experience for other users may result in throttling or temporary suspension.

3.2 Storage limits: data volumes exceeding published plan limits may result in additional charges or a requirement to archive or delete older data.

3.3 AI features: usage of AI-assisted features is subject to fair-use caps published in plan descriptions. Sustained heavy usage may be rate-limited or upgraded to higher tiers.

3.4 Free tier / trial: free-tier usage is limited by record count, storage, and AI credits. Exceeding limits requires upgrade to a paid plan. Words Connect may modify or withdraw free tiers at its discretion.

4. Account Security

Subscribers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials.
  • Enabling two-factor authentication where available.
  • Promptly notifying Words Connect of any suspected unauthorised access.
  • All activity that occurs under their account, whether or not authorised.

5. Data and Content

  • Subscribers warrant that they have the legal right to upload and process the data they place in the Services.
  • Subscribers shall comply with data protection laws (PDPA 2010 as amended) in respect of any personal data of third parties.
  • Where a Subscriber uses the Services to process personal data of third parties at scale, Words Connect may require execution of a Data Processing Agreement before such processing commences.

6. Referral Programme Conduct

6.1 Subscribers participating in the AiOB Referral Programme (Tier 1) must promote the Services truthfully and in good faith, and shall comply with all applicable advertising, consumer protection, and anti-spam laws.

6.2 The following conduct is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of accrued commissions, removal from the Referral Programme, and termination of the Subscriber's account:

  • Self-referral, including referring accounts created or controlled by the Subscriber, members of the Subscriber's immediate family, employees of the Subscriber, or other non-arms-length parties for the purpose of generating commissions.
  • Commission farming or any practice that artificially inflates referral activity.
  • Making false, misleading, or unauthorised representations about the Services, their features, pricing, performance, or any association with Words Connect.
  • Sending spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or marketing communications that violate the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 or any applicable anti-spam law.
  • Offering or accepting any improper inducement, gift, or payment in connection with a referral (consistent with the Words Connect Anti-Bribery Policy).

6.3 Words Connect reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or clawback any commission where it reasonably suspects a breach of this Section 6.

7. Consequences of Breach

Words Connect may respond to suspected breaches of this AUP by:

  • Requesting the Subscriber to cease the prohibited activity.
  • Throttling or rate-limiting the affected account or feature.
  • Suspending access to the Services pending investigation.
  • Terminating the subscription in accordance with the Subscriber Agreement.
  • Reporting unlawful activity to relevant authorities.
  • Preserving evidence for legal proceedings where warranted.

8. Reporting Abuse

To report suspected abuse of the Services (spam from our platform, security vulnerability, phishing), email: [email protected]. Words Connect aims to respond to abuse reports within 2 business days.

9. Changes to This Policy

Words Connect may update this AUP. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
